On this page you will find information on these subjects:
Music (what music he brings, and how he obtains it legally)
Equipment Location (where he needs to set up for optimum sound & view)
Lighting (fun dance lighting to add excitement on the floor)
MUSIC:
Legally, we receive weekly music updates from TM Century "PrimeCuts", which contain all the Radio Edit hits that hit the Top 30 Charts of the Adult Contemporary, Mainstream Radio (Pop/Top 40), Urban (hip hop and R&B), Country, Rock/Alternative, Dance remixes and Christian formats.
We guarantee that if it's on the radio we have it.
EQUIPMENT LOCATION:
Due to the weight of the equipment, most of the time it is impossible to set up on stages. So please utilize any stages for your head table. Besides, we are not the focus of the night, you are! Put yourself up where everyone can see you from anywhere in the room. Overall, this will just look much better.
We do not need you to provide a table for us. Everything we bring is self-contained. We just need access to power within 25 feet of his staging area.
When deciding where to put your DJ, the best location is always next to the dance floor. This is so he can have access to the floor (which is usually always an open area), for announcements, interaction with the guests, etc. Most DJs like to feel a connection to their dancers, so setting up directly next to the dancing area is best. Putting tables between the DJ and the dancing area is never a good idea, because those sitting right next to the DJ booth will have the music in their ears the loudest. Even when dinner music is at a controlled, softer volume, being right next to the speakers can seem much louder than if you were a good distance away.
If you are having assigned seating for your guests, if at all possible, put your elderly/older guests the farthest away from the DJ area. Put younger guests at the closest spot from the DJ, since they will more than likely not be bothered as much by the music volume at any point of the night.
LIGHTING:
Lighting is included in all packages with the exception of the “Basic Package”
